A lot of things seem to keep happening around here, or at least the camera is busy recording history. Here is some photos of Adam's semi-annual hair cutting episode. We attempted to make a mulouck??? Silliness. Today our temps got to 40 degrees. Whooohoo!

What a long winter....here it is Feb. 27, 2010 and we are lucky to hit 32 degrees for the high. As you can see we still have lots of snow. I'm looking forward to the wind blowing to melt this stuff. Here are a few photos of fat pregnant mares in the snow. Last year at this time I planted peas. Not so this year. But I did buy the seed today. Maybe I can plant them by the end of March. Oh well I'll get more indoor projects done for now.

Deer of Winter 2010

 

What a long winter it has been. Several deer have lived right here in our yard for the most part. Mark went out to feed the horses and this is what he found. Quite the sight. They feel right at home. Next we may find them in our house.

Playing in the snow

What a long winter. We decided if it is going to stay winter we just as well do winter things, so we went to the park and slid down the hill. The kids had a lot of fun and the adults did their best not to grumble too much about the cold. Shad's family came for a weekend visit.
