Sand Wash was so handy for us to play on. We could drive down to the lake right from the cabin. The sun was shining, the water wasn't too cold and the kids had fun.
We stayed at Six Lakes again. It works well for our family and we have a good time. We caught crawdads and fish. Wayne had an accident first thing losing an oar and going overboard fully clothed. So while his boots dried out he used Mark's. That didn't slow him down from fishing as you can see. Of course he is prepared to do water sports too. Lonnie and Angel brought a fun blow up slide that the little ones played on. Wayne set up a big screen for our own outdoor movie viewing. Fun, fun, fun!
Grandsons, Logan and Ethan come to stay two weeks prior to our family reunion. We had a fun time, cowboying, exploring, watching The Wizard of Oz play at Western Park, and finding things like an owl nest and a snake.
Today we had a storm roll through coming from the south. A little different that our ususal here and it was a strong one. I thought we might get some flooding form the rain that collects off the hills to our west. Floods usually come a couple of hours after the storm. Well 3 hours later, we were on the patio grilling and Mark looked up and said look. Going across the pasture in front of our house was this big river of muddy water. It got bigger and bigger and well here take a look for yourself. Amazing. Wayne jumped on the backhoe to try to advert it from damages at his place. The neighbors came with their big hoe and cut a channel through their yard.
June 17th-19th, we Stacy and the girls traveled down to St. George to see the plays at Tuacahn once again. We love it and have such a good time. This year we are happy to have Angel and Emily join us. We also were lucky to be with Grandma Zola, Jan and Katrina. We stayed at the Abbey Inn, with the most luxious beds ever and yummie breakfast and nice pool. We shopped and ate pizza and Texas Roadhouse. The highlight was the plays The Little Mermaid and Grease. Stacy made cute purses for the girls filled with items that go along with the mermaid theme. Stacy and Angel help the girls dress up as Pink Ladies for the Grease play. They were so stinkin cute. We had a blast. The weather was perfect, not too hot. Building memories. I hope we can do it again.
